Ask Lex is an AI-powered legal research platform designed to assist legal professionals in Sri Lanka. The Service provides access to legal documents, case law, statutes, and AI-assisted research capabilities.
Important: Ask Lex is a research tool and does not provide legal advice. All information should be independently verified before use in legal proceedings.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not:

7. Limitation of Liability
Ask Lex shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
